What is Taeva Loan?

Taeva loan is a mobile lending app developed by TAEVA Business Solutions that provides fast, small short-term loans to eligible customers in Zambia. Our service is designed to be simple, transparent, and secure.
Who can apply for a loan?

Applicants must be Zambian residents, at least 18 years old, possess a valid government-issued ID (NRC, passport or driver’s license), and have an active mobile number. Specific eligibility criteria (income, credit checks) are applied during the evaluation process.
Where is your service available?

Initially Taeva loan serves customers across Zambia. We plan to expand coverage and features over time; please check the app or our news updates for any service-area changes.

Application & KYC

How do I sign up and apply?

Sign up with your mobile number, verify it via OTP, then complete the short KYC form in the app (name, DOB, ID number, employment status). After profile submission you can select a loan product and apply. The credit evaluation is automated and usually very fast.
What documents will I need to upload?

Typically a photo of your government ID (NRC, passport, or driver’s license).
Why does the app ask for SMS/device permissions?

With your consent, the app may request certain permissions that help us verify identity. We only request necessary permissions and explain each permission before asking. You can still use many features even if you decline optional permissions, although it may slow verification.
How long does KYC verification take?

For the majority of users KYC verification is automatic and completes in a few minutes. If manual review is required, it may take up to 1–2 business days. You will be notified in-app and via SMS or email.

Loan Terms & Repayment

How fast will I get the money?

Once your loan is approved, funds are typically disbursed to your registered mobile wallet within minutes. Actual timing depends on the mobile wallet provider’s processing times.
What loan amounts and terms do you offer?

We offer a range of products from small emergency loans to larger short-term credit, with terms typically between 61 and 365 days. Exact amounts and available terms depend on your eligibility and product selection; these are shown before you confirm your loan.
Can I repay early?

Yes — early repayment is allowed. The app will show any interest or fee adjustments for early payoff before you confirm the payment.
What happens if I miss a payment?

Missing a payment may result in late fees and could negatively affect your ability to get future credit. If you are unable to pay on time, contact our support team immediately to discuss available options. All penalties and timelines are disclosed in your loan agreement.
Can I take another loan if I still have one outstanding?

Are there any hidden fees?

No. All fees, interest, and the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) are displayed clearly in the loan summary before you accept the loan. We are committed to transparent pricing.
How is interest calculated?

Interest and any fees are calculated based on the loan product terms and the loan duration. The full repayment schedule (principal, interest, fees) is provided prior to loan confirmation so you can review the exact amounts and due dates.
Do you charge origination or processing fees?

Some products may include a service or processing fee; if applicable, these charges will be shown clearly in the loan offer. There are no undisclosed charges.

Data & Security

How do you protect my personal information?

Will you share my data with third parties?

How can I close/deactivate my account?

You can request account deactivation in the app. Accounts with outstanding loans cannot be deactivated until all obligations are settled.
